Jamestown Projects Awarded $712,500 Through North Dakota Destination Development Grant Program

    October 15, 2025

The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation would like to extend our congratulations to two local projects selected to receive funding through the North Dakota Department of Commerce’s 2025 Destination Development Grant Program.

In total, $15 million was awarded to 23 projects statewide to enhance tourism infrastructure, elevate visitor experiences, and strengthen long-term community and economic growth. Jamestown stood out among the recipients with two exciting initiatives aimed at boosting the community’s visitor experience and cultural offerings.

Raising the Bar for the Arts – Jamestown Fine Arts Association

    Awarded: $500,000

The Jamestown Fine Arts Association will transform a historic downtown property into a year-round arts and culinary tourism destination. The expansion will triple program capacity and introduce new creative experiences, such as cooking workshops, art therapy sessions, and interactive exhibitions, encouraging visitors to spend more time exploring downtown Jamestown.

Miniature Golf at Frontier Village – Jamestown

    Awarded: $212,500

The Frontier Village will soon welcome an 18-hole, locally themed miniature golf course, designed to provide family-friendly recreation and tell the story of Jamestown and North Dakota through play. The course will be tournament-ready and help encourage visitors to extend their stay and experience more of what Jamestown has to offer.

Together, these investments represent over $700,000 in new tourism development right here in Jamestown: projects that will enhance the community’s appeal, create new experiences for residents and visitors alike, and contribute to the long-term economic vitality of the area.

The JSDC extends its congratulations to both the Jamestown Fine Arts Association and the Frontier Village project teams for their vision and commitment to growing Jamestown as a destination community.
