JSDC Celebrates a Successful 2026 Annual Meeting

    June 25, 2026

The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended the 2026 JSDC Annual Meeting. The event brought together business leaders, elected officials, community partners, and residents to celebrate another year of economic development successes and look ahead to the opportunities that lie ahead for Jamestown and Stutsman County.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the JSDC's annual community awards, recognizing organizations whose investments and leadership have made a lasting impact on the region.

The 2025 Community Development Award was presented to Vetter Construction and Kiella Lawrence Photography in recognition of their investment in downtown Jamestown. Their collaborative project transformed a commercial property into a vibrant space that supports business growth while contributing to the continued revitalization of the community.

The 2025 Growing Jamestown Award was presented to MidMach for its continued investment in manufacturing, workforce development, and long-term growth in Jamestown. Through facility expansion and ongoing commitment to the local economy, MidMach exemplifies the innovation and dedication that help strengthen the region's manufacturing sector.

The JSDC also extends a special thank you to Rich Garman, Director of Economic Development and Finance with the North Dakota Department of Commerce, for delivering this year's keynote address. His insights on economic development and the future of North Dakota provided valuable perspective and reinforced the importance of continued collaboration between local and state partners.

During the meeting, attendees also received the JSDC's 2025 Annual Report, highlighting the organization's accomplishments over the past year, including business expansions, housing initiatives, workforce development programs, infrastructure investments, and other projects that continue to strengthen the local economy.

If you were unable to attend the Annual Meeting or did not receive a copy of the 2025 Annual Report, you can view the digital version on the Reports page of our website or stop by the JSDC office to pick up a printed copy.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating another successful year of economic development. We appreciate the continued support of our investors, partners, board members, volunteers, and community members, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
