Enjoy Fall in Jamestown!

Fall is quickly approaching here in Jamestown. As the temperatures cool and the leaves begin to change, the season offers plenty of opportunities to get out, enjoy our community, and support the local businesses and organizations that help make it a great place to live.

Start your fall outing by picking up your favorite seasonal drink from one of Jamestown’s coffee shops. Whether you prefer pumpkin spice, caramel apple, or another fall flavor, it’s an easy way to enjoy the season while supporting a local business. You can also stop by one of the many shops or boutiques around town to find a new sweater, scarf, or other accessory for the cooler weather.

Several upcoming events will provide even more ways to celebrate the season. The A-Maze-N-Clown Pumpkin Patch, operated by the El Zagal Jamestown Shriner Clowns, will be open on weekends from September 19th through October 18th. Families can enjoy the maze, select a pumpkin, and make a few fall memories together.

Jamestown Parks and Recreation will also host its Fall Festival at Klaus Park on September 26. Activities will begin at 4 p.m. and include games, music, the Discovery Zone, and a Power Wheels race for children ages 2–7. Later that evening, the park will feature a self-guided Pumpkin Walk with hundreds of carved pumpkins illuminated throughout the park. Fire pits will also be available, with s’more kits for sale beginning at 7 p.m.

Beyond these events, fall is a great time to explore Jamestown’s parks and trails, attend a Blue Jays or Jimmies athletic event, enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, or simply spend an afternoon discovering something new around town.

These activities are more than just ways to enjoy the season. Local events, businesses, and amenities all contribute to the quality of life that helps Jamestown attract and retain residents, employees, and businesses. Each cup of coffee, local purchase, and community event helps support the people and organizations that make our area a place where people want to build their lives.
