JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) Existing Business Committee discussed incentives to recruit and keep employees in the area.
JSDC Business Development Director Corry Shevlin says they have been exploring different programs and incentives for businesses and employees to help keep interns in the community. One of the programs they had looked into was being implemented in Grand Forks.
One such program that was introduced in 2020 was the Career Builders program, which would use matching funds from the state and outline a number of jobs and occupations that were deemed as “high demand.”
