When Halie Mittleider thinks about Jamestown, she doesn’t just see it as where she works. It’s home.
Originally from Crookston, Minnesota, Halie moved to Jamestown in 1994 when she was in sixth grade after her family relocated for her dad’s job. What began as a move for work quickly turned into a lifelong connection to the community, shaping both her personal life and career.
Finding Her Role at Witthauer Financial Group
Today, Halie serves as an Administrative Assistant at Witthauer Financial Group, where she supports the team and helps clients navigate the often complex world of health insurance.
Her path into the role reflects the relationship-driven nature of Jamestown. “I was asked by Lindsey to come work for them,” Halie shared, a reminder that many opportunities in the community grow through trust and connection.
Growing Through Connection
One of Halie’s biggest milestones has been meeting new people and building her knowledge of health insurance. Through her work, she’s gained experience that directly impacts local families and businesses, while continuing to deepen her connection to the community she’s long called home.
What She Loves About Jamestown
For Halie, it comes down to the feeling.
“I love the hometown vibes,” she said.
That sense of familiarity, support, and connection is what makes Jamestown stand out and continues to keep her rooted here.
When it comes to local recommendations, Halie points newcomers to one of her favorite spots: Spiritwood Resort, perfect for a relaxing getaway, time on the water, or a quiet break from the everyday
Outside of work, Halie enjoys spending time with family and friends, the relationships that mean the most to her and make Jamestown feel like more than just a place to live.
