JSDC attends FEW event

Connie Ova, CEO, and Lindsey Larson, marketing/business development specialist of the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corp. recently returned from the annual Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo in St. Louis, Mo., where they showcased the benefits and advantages that Jamestown and Stuts-man County have to offer for manufacturing opportunities to foreign and domestic companies within the ethanol industry.

“This show was a great opportunity for the JSDC to seek out potential manufacturers that are looking to relocate or looking into the possibility of adding another manufacturing location. Stutsman County presents a unique opportunity to an incoming business at the Spiritwood Energy Park. They will be able to take advantage of low-cost steam which will greatly reduce their operation costs,” Ova said.

FEW provides the global ethanol industry with cutting-edge content and networking opportunities in a dynamic business-to-business environment.

Now in its 26th year, FEW’s purpose for the event is to provide timely presentations with a strong focus on commercial-scale ethanol production, new technology, and near-term research and development.

In addition to technical presentations hand-picked by a steering committee of industry experts, the FEW offers networking forums.

The event has grown to more than 2,500 attendees and 600 exhibitors and draws people from more than 30 countries and from nearly every ethanol plant in the United States and Canada.
