Goodrich Industries - Cargo Systems Division
The state’s largest aerospace manufacturer, and the largest manufacturing employer in Jamestown, it has enjoyed a long and successful association with the community of Jamestown since 1971. Employing 400 people, the company is a worldwide exporter and the largest supplier of cargo systems for Boeing and McDonnell Douglas. Over the past decade, the company has expanded several times, absorbing manufacturing functions from allied facilities in Georgia and California.

Becoming operational in 1996, this $65 million venture is a processor of french fry potatoes and related co-products. The first new potato plant to be built in North America in 15 years, it serves primarily fast food restaurants in the United States, and employs over 220 people.

One of the nation's top 10 traffic sign and billboard companies, this company recently completed a 15,000 square foot addition to its Jamestown plant. Now employing 165 people, this company is one of North Dakota's most visible entrepreneurial successes."
DuraTech Industries International
Holding two United States industry crowns is DuraTech. They are the largest manufacturer of hay processing equipment in the United States, and a worldwide leader in the development of industrial grinders for recycling wood and other waster products.
Glenmac, Inc.
Manufacturer of power rakes, beach cleaners, and rock pickers, Glenmac, Inc. has administrative and manufacturing operations in Jamestown, as well as a second manufacturing facility in Minnesota. The company has completed two major expansions in the past seven years. Glenmac is another example of entrepreneurial success.
Agri-Cover
Putting the final touches on a new 59,000 square foot facility, the company will now have nearly 100,000 square feet under roof, after starting out of a garage in 1981. Agri-Cover is the quality leader in the manufacture of tonneau covers for light trucks and semi tractors. Now employing over 70 people, it will grow to 100 within two years. For over 10 consecutive years, the company has experienced double-digit sales growth.
Wedgcor/Sunward Trucking
Founded in 1973 in Jamestown, Wedgcor is the largest steel building manufacturer in North Dakota. The company custom designs and manufactures steel buildings for clients throughout the United States, as well as overseas. Sunward Trucking, a subsidiary, delivers the steel buildings to their respective sites.
Precision Results Manufacturing
A startup in 1996, this ISO 9001 compliant company specializes as a metal bending job shop to major Midwest manufacturers. One large customer is Toro, which has increased its purchase orders every year in double-digit percentages.
