Jamestown offers a wide variety of health providers. With several smaller clinics, a psychiatric hospital, numerous eye doctors, dentists and chiropractors, health care is competitive, patient friendly and easily accessible. Jamestown is also home to the North Dakota State Hospital, which serves as the State Health and Human Service's rehab, treatment and evaluation center for individuals with psychiatric needs. Additionally, The Anne Carlson Center for Children offers Individualized services to include care for children and young adults coping with cerebral palsy; orthopedic, vision and hearing impairments; autism, pervasive and other developmental disorders; and many other medical challenges. North Dakota State Hospital
Jamestown's largest employer serves as North Dakota's rehab, treatment and evaluation center for individuals with psychiatric needs. The facility employs more than 600 employees, many of whom are professionals in the areas of medicine, mental health, social services and counseling. Services are provided on an inpatient or residential level in three service units of the hospital: Adult Psychiatric Service, Chemical Dependency Service, and the Child & Adolescent Service.
Jamestown Hospital
Jamestown Hospital was opened in 1935 by community leaders dedicated to provide the finest possible care to Stutsman county and the surrounding region. Today's Jamestown Hospital is a nationally recognized, modern fully equipped and professionally staffed, 56-bed facility that serves as the hub for a system of dedicated health care providers. Anne Carlsen Center for Children
The Anne Carlsen Center for Children offers a rich tradition of residential, therapeutic and educational services on one campus. Individualized services include care for children and young adults coping with cerebral palsy; orthopedic, vision and hearing impairments; autism, pervasive and other developmental disorders; and many other medical challenges. The Anne Carlsen Center nurtures individuals with physical, mental and health impairments through creative combinations of special education and training, therapy, supportive medical care and, above all else, the unconditional love, understanding and sense of belonging every child longs for and deserves. Central Dakota Village and Exner's Basic Care dba Roseadele
Central Dakota Village, a 100-bed skilled nursing campus with 45 independent living apartment, offers physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as tracheotomies, tube feedings and ventilators. Exner's Basic Care dba Roseadele is an Alzheimer's facility with 20 basic care beds.
Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center
Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center (HAM), licensed by the North Dakota Department of Human Services, opened for service in September 1962. This facility is presently licensed to operate 142, Medicare approved, skilled nursing care beds. HAM participates in the North Dakota nursing facility payment system which provides 34 levels of skilled nursing care on a daily basis. HAM is a totally smoke-free facility with open visiting hours. The emphasis at HAM is recognizing all the needs of the individual resident. Our professional staff consists of RNs, LPNs, CMAs, CNAs, rehabilitative therapy staff, a dietitian, social workers, chaplain, maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, dietary staff, activities staff, and business management team. Continuous nursing services are provided on a 24-hour basis as prescribed by the resident's physician. Regardless of the department they serve, our management team respects the rights and privileges of both our residents and staff members and encourages our "family" to do the same for one another. Each person is a unique individual and our goal is to maintain the individuality of each person and rehabilitate him/her to their highest level of independent living or a lesser level of care. Both provide skilled nursing home care and supportive living arrangements for the elderly, as well as for adults with chronic health concerns. Together, these facilities employ more than 330 people.

Medcenter One - Jamestown
Medcenter One Jamestown is located in downtown Jamestown in the Jamestown Mall. This is a full size clinic able to meet your general and specialty medical needs. Meritcare Jamestown

Dakota Clinic
Dakota Clinic is located under five minutes from the Jamestown Hospital. Jamestown Hospital was ranked one of the top 25 hospitals in the nation in a recent survey. The hospital offers 57 beds, three operating rooms, a four bed ICU, fixed CT, mobile MRI, CRNA, radiology services and 24 hour emergency room service.
