CITY FIRE PROTECTION

| Jamestown is protected by a full-time and volunteer fire department that provides not only fire safety, but rescue service and rescue diving. The department has six full-time firemem and 31 volunteers. Beyond the city limits, a volunteer rural fure department (with cooperative city fire insurance classification) protects.
