It's a great feeling when it happens and you can't help but chuckle as you talk about the connections you have with this new acquaintance.

The next time this happens be sure to tell them about the wonderful progress that's being made back home. Feel free to mention that the first snow flew October 11th, but follow that up with, "It was perfect weather to get our family's Christmas pictures taken. And I couldn't be much happier with the frost because of all of the wonderful fall colors."
