UTC Aerospace Systems


The state’s largest aerospace manufacturer, and the largest manufacturing employer in Jamestown, it has enjoyed a long and successful association with the community of Jamestown since 1971. Employing 545 people, the company is a worldwide exporter and the largest supplier (including design/development/manufacturing and certification) of cargo systems to Boeing, Airbus, and airlines worldwide . Over the past decade, the company has expanded several times, absorbing manufacturing functions from allied facilities in Georgia, California, and Ohio.
 

North Dakota State Hospital


North Dakota's rehab, treatment and evaluation center for individuals with psychiatric and substance abuse needs. The facility employs more than 450 employees, many of whom are professionals in the areas of medicine, mental health, social services and counseling.
 

Jamestown Public School District


The school district serves 2,300 PreK-12 students and has an annual general fund budget over $16,000,000. Our community is proud of our $21,000,000 high school that opened in January 2004 and in finishing a $5,800,000 renovation project of the middle school in the summer of 2005.

Parent organization of Central Dakota Village Central Dakota Village is a 100 bed long-term care skilled facility located in northeastern Jamestown. In April of 2002, the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation became the owners and sponsors of this home for the elderly.
 

Cavendish Farms


Cavendish Farms is the 4th largest processor of frozen potato products in North America. Cavendish Farms has two production facilities in Canada and acquired their 3rd facility in Jamestown in 2001. The Jamestown plant has an annual production capacity of 300 million lbs. of frozen French fries and potato products and employees 250 people.

DuraTech Industries International


Holding two United States industry crowns is DuraTech. They are the largest manufacturer of hay processing equipment in the United States, and a worldwide leader in the development of industrial grinders for recycling wood and other waster products.
 

Jamestown College

Founded in 1973 in Jamestown, Wedgcor is the largest steel building manufacturer in North Dakota. The company custom designs and manufactures steel buildings for clients throughout the United States, as well as overseas. Sunward Trucking, a subsidiary, delivers the steel buildings to their respective sites.

Newman Outdoor Advertising has been manufacturing signs for over 50 years. They are a major provider of traffic sign across the entire US. They just recently added and "Action Digital Division that provides large format digital printing available for billboards, banners, vehicle graphics up to 720 dpi. One of the nation’s top 10 outdoor sign and billboard companies, this company recently completed a 14,000 square foot addition to its Jamestown plant. Now employing 165 people, this company is one of North Dakota’s most visible entrepreneurial successes.
 

First Community Credit Union


North Dakota's largest credit union, with over 27,000 members, provides an assortment of financial services that support its members' saving, checking, and retirement accounts. Organized in 1939, the FCCU has grown to include branches in Jamestown, Valley City, Napoleon, Oakes, Steele, Wahpeton, Hankinson, Wishek, Milnor, and Bismarck.

ACI manufactures truck and ATV accessories at their 216,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility. This family owned and operated company has been manufacturing market-leading truck bed tonneau covers, agricultural tarps, SnowSport® Utility Plows, and ATV accessories for over 28 years. Their products are sold throughout North America. ACI employs 115 people from Jamestown and the surrounding communities and was recognized with the North Dakota Business and Industrial Development Award as well as the Jamestown Business of the Year Award.
